Welcome to the July edition of the Sunshine & Strategy newsletter! This is where we share updates, marketing insights, and what we’re seeing across the financial services industry.
This month, Emma Palatnik, Head of Sunshine Digital Marketing Solutions, attended the Financial Communications Society’s The Great Finance Reset webinar. The session covered how financial services brands can build trust, relevance, and engagement through more effective visual storytelling. It was very informative with lots of key takeaways.
One thing we’ve realized recently is that when we say Sunshine Digital Marketing Solutions specializes in marketing for financial services firms, that can mean a lot of different things. The financial services industry is incredibly broad, so we wanted to share a little more about the types of businesses we serve.
We specialize in working with broker-dealers, RIAs/financial advisors, hedge funds, and accounting firms. We help these clients build stronger brands and grow their businesses through strategic initiatives, including marketing strategy, social media management, email marketing, content marketing, website design and management, graphic design, event marketing, and paid advertising.
Another topic we’ve been discussing recently is the importance of getting more value out of the content you’re already creating. A blog post can become several LinkedIn posts. A newsletter can be expanded into an article or broken into social media posts. A podcast or webinar can generate transcripts, email summaries, short video clips, and thought leadership posts. Even older content can often be refreshed with updated insights or new data to make it relevant again.
Repurposing content not only saves time but also helps reinforce your message across multiple channels. Chances are, most of your audience didn’t see your content the first time anyway, so don’t be afraid to give your best ideas a second life.
That’s it for this edition of Sunshine & Strategy! If you’re looking to strengthen your marketing strategy, refresh your brand, or create content that works harder across every channel, we’d love to help. Please contact us to learn more about how we can support your marketing goals.
