Over the past few months, Emma Palatnik, Head of Sunshine Digital Marketing Solutions, has been active throughout South Florida’s finance community.
In March, she attended the Hedge Fund Association’s South Florida Sunset Cocktails and the Miami Finance Forum’s Network After Work. In February, she went to several events during Global Alts Miami. In January, she attended the Uncorrelated Miami Kickoff and Big Parties.
These events continue to highlight how active and connected the South Florida finance industry is, with opportunities to learn, network, and stay close to industry trends.
A recent topic Emma also explored on LinkedIn is whether it’s necessary to be active on every social media platform. The short answer: it’s not.
For most firms, the most effective approach is to focus on one or two platforms where your target audience is actually active. LinkedIn is often the strongest starting point. Building consistency and quality on a focused set of channels will almost always outperform spreading efforts too thin across multiple platforms.
